About PixelCircles
PixelCircles turns round shapes into square blocks. It is a set of free generators for builders in Minecraft and other block games, and for pixel artists.
How the shapes are calculated
Each plan is a grid. A block is placed when the centre of that block lies inside the ideal circle, oval or sphere.
- Thin keeps the blocks of a filled shape that have open space on at least one side.
- Thick also keeps blocks that only touch open space at a corner, so every block shares a face with the next.
- Hollow spheres and domes keep every block with open space on any of its six faces, which makes the shell sealed.
Everything is calculated in your browser. The same code produces the tables on each page, so the numbers in the text always match the tool.
The .litematic download is a standard Litematica schematic for Java Edition. Hollow spheres and domes in it are the same shell you see in the plan, with the dome's widest ring at the bottom.
